TO TEACHERS AND STUDENTS .

I have been a teacher by choice for forty two years . on the eve of Teachers -Day i would like to share few words with teachers and students together . this is what i learned and earned and thought and taught and experienced .
Teaching and Learning are the best and noblest , toughest and most complicated human activities . it is great work that affects eternity and influences the coming and coming and coming generations ( i feel proud of being a teacher . )
By learning you can teach . to be a better teacher you should be an anxious , keen and avid reader . teacher comes out of a person who learns too much and then his teaching goes to learner as it being in excess . teacher gives to his students out of his excess ; if teacher is poor , can poor give ?
On the other hand a student should teach to his juniors as a rule because by teaching one understands well. some one has rightly said , '' to teach is to learn twice over ''
Teacher should know how to suggest ; how to encourage ; how to make child learn himself ; how to make learning , easy , joy , interesting as learning process is the most difficult task / job / work in it's initial stage `. TO MAKE DIFFICULT , EASY IS A DIFFICULT ART .
The students who differ and raise questions before the teachers , are mostly intelligent and it shows that they think . to think is to differ ; let them differ , let them think ; either convince them or get convinced . to arrive at the simple is really uneasy so have patience .
A good teacher can tell and guide you , what he expect from you but the BEST teacher awakens you you to your abilities , capabilities , potentials , talents and your OWN EXPECTATIONS .
A teacher as a teacher -successful , is , who makes himself progressively less and less effective and ultimately become unnecessary to his disciple and disciple comes out as better one (rare ). but this is the scale .
Again the teacher is the chief learner in the class-room , in the school and in the out side to evaluate the whole learning - teaching process including his student and himself .
The number of students who advance the teacher and win the race in life , is the number to the credit of teacher's account .
I used to tell my student , '' cash is yours' , the credit is mine . ''
