WISDOM OF UPNISHADA. .

There are three basic and important questions / problems in human life . 1 - what is Truth ? 2 - what should we do ? 3 - what should we not do ?. answers of these three questions are given in two lines only in Ishavashya Upanishada .(the smallest and the best of all Upnishdas having only 18 shlokas in all . ) but as i think , the first shloka of this Upnishada is the key shloka and other 17 shlokas are in the support of this one , the first . and all the above three questions are answered in a way that excel all knowledge and learning . these lines were written about 5000 years ago are still relevant in our lives , universal and true on the eve of scientific discoveries . these lines are ------
'' ईशा वास्यम इदं सर्वम् यत् किंच जगत्याम जगत :: तेन त्यख्तेन भुंजीथा , मा गृधः कस्यस्विद धनम् । '' । ०१।
In the first line it says , '' this whole creation is pervaded by ISHA ( universal soul ) . the answer of the first question . now the first half of the second line says , -'' whatsoever (health , wealth ,place , country , body , mind , ability and intelligence ) has been come to you as your share enjoy it all (at least wish to enjoy it for 100 years, said in other shloka ). now there in two words MAA GRIDAH , there is negation ; not to covet /greed /envy others' and for more than allotted to you . in the last two words, the reason ,not to covet , has been given by raising a question , i. e. who is the owner of this worldly wealth ? none except Ishaa. ( because this world and worldly wealth is doomed to suffer , fail and die ) all in this world is ephemeral , so enjoy that you have ; do not covet for more and envy others' .
the English version of this shloka goes like this . '' whatsoever that exists in this temporary world is the manifestation of God /Ishaa . He is in all , in and out and in all times . He has given you your share , enjoy it to full ; do not covet for more and envy others . this external world and its' possessions are doomed to die .
*** some references are taken from other shlokas . for detail , read Ishaavashya Upnishad and all the 18 shlokas . but what is use of going in detail . '' ( किमन्य शास्त्र विशतरै )
In my humble opinion this one shloka is master guide , if we sincerely follow in practice in our lives . all the bads in our lives are because of greed . greed is the root cause of all the evils .all other evils are originated in / from greed . that is why greed is being negated . again you are advised to enjoy your life in full .
