LEARNING OF SINCERITY .

The word sincere is of great value in life and in persuasion of virtues . Tagore says in his great work Gitanjali that we want to see and meet God , but are we sincere ? no , not at all . we are living in a slum and we love it much that we can not leave it at any cost . we are living a false , duplicate and worthless life and this life has become real . we even do not know the real . G.B. Shaw writes ,- " my way of joking is to tell the truth . it is the funniest joke in the world . " the real and true have become ,fun , false and fake in this world of today . are we sincere in our search of good and true moral ? is the desire honest and genuine ? a person who ask me the way to be good and great , i ask him , if he is honest , sincere and genuine in his desire . has he has any plan to do so ? does he maintain any diary book or examine his deeds in his mind of the whole day ? does he recapitulate , how many times and how many lies did he tell , whom did he cheat and why , how many times did he invited the evil thoughts in action to harm others and with what reasons ? if you want to be good , you need a plan and unfailing awareness every minute . you may say that you want to be good and this and that but really you are not sincere .
one friend , one of these days asked me to know , what was good and what bad . i say , take one stance ; ask a rikshawala who does smoke and pat will come the answer , " smoking is not good . " and then ask a professor , who dose smoke and preach his students not to smoke , will give the same answer , "smoking is not good . " one of my friends , well , highly educated and more well placed , a smoker , told me that to give up smoking was so easy that he had given it up many many times . they all are in good knowledge of bads of smoking and to surprise they all wanted to give it up , but sorry ! they were not sincere.
Rig Veda declares , " one surely and inevitably gains that which one truly desires and for which one works honestly , sincerely and persuade patiently । " to quote , Tulasi das in Ram Charit Manas , "जा पर जाकर सत्य सनेहू । मिलै ताहि नहिं कछु संदेहू ॥ " your desire should be genuine and true and you should try your best with all your potentials and you shall get it . there is no greater delight than to be conscious of sincerity on self examination .
M.K. Gandhi says , " there should be truth in thought , truth in speech , and truth in action ,and then and then we can realize that we want to realize. "
A man should either discover the truth for himself , or learn it from some one who deserves it , if this is not possible ,he should take the best and most useful of human theories and make in the raft on which he sails through life . Omar Khayyam says , "A hair perhaps divides the false and true . " again the wise men use vice very tactfully as virtue , example - scorn to lie . be angry to their weaknesses . moreover , a truth that is told with bad intent beats all the lies . and what is an evil ? all that springs from weakness . our greatest evils flow from ourselves . there is no explanation for evil .it must be looked upon as necessary part of the order of the universe. to ignore it is childish , to bewail it is senseless.
