CURT WARNING / HUMBLE ADVICE

If you want any improvement in the society , in your family , in your friend circle , in your office or in any company that you have , there is the only and only alternative to improve yourself . the good action done by any one entail good result and bad , bad . if you think , this is right action , it is first and foremost person , that is you , where it can be easily and swiftly applied . when your thought becomes your action , the improvements take place immediately , if on the other hand you want that your thought should be practiced by the ओथेर, it has many hurdles , 1 -it is your thought , not his , he may agree , he may not , 2 - he may not be in that kind of thought in that time and situation . 3 . he may ask you the reason of not being practiced by you , yourself . 4 - he has hundred reasons to reject your idea because it is not his / of his way of thinking .
Therefore the best idea to do any thing better or to achieve any thing new and superior , to do any act of goodness , to raise any quality or inculcate any of virtues one is expected to be wholly selfish . raise your self and the whole society will be raised through you . yes ! if your actions are right others may follow these actions . those who do not follow or can not follow at least will appreciate you and your actions . so , to be good , great or rich and powerful , healthy and happy try yourself , first and last . one individual of good actions can change himself and the whole society and the nation at large . take one example of Lord Bauddha .., or Mahatma Gandhi , or Socrates who became great themselves fist and change the thought and actions of whole society of their time . Gandhi being himself one , took one principle of yoga (one Of the five Yamas) Ahinsha (nonviolence ) and won freedom for India . now his thought of Ahimsa is pervading the whole world .
Therefore any change that you think fit , start in you , with yourself , in your own life and in your family and friend circle and see the results . much has been said of this idea since long so i wish to remind it to those who really want to do something novel , some thing good and great.
what has been said of good actions and great , good thoughts is equally applicable to those of bad thoughts and bad actions . let prevail .

LEARNING OF INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES

Every one can not be great but every one can be /must good and useful to himself and to the society . again every one can not be rich in material life and worldly achievements but he can be / must rich in himself with virtues and good life . there are individual differences and no one is like the other . see , one does not take interest in games , nor has the aptitude , may be very very introvert in nature and behaviour but he can grow as an eminent scientist , but on the other hand one is very poor at academics but good at games and sports and becomes a great player or sports man ; one again , weak at maths , excellent at Samskrit or drawings . this is to be found out .
There are numberless stories of great achievers who have been marked failures in other fields or subjects . i am not going to name them . i want to say that every person has , at least one specific good merit in himself , that needs to be trained ,nursed , nurtured and developed . this search can be done by parents ,if they are well educated and have the primary knowledge of educational psychology and if not they can take the help of well experienced teachers and psychologist available to them . generally , it is seen in our country , that guardians and parents want to send their wards to streams not matching with their aptitude and interests . this is the point where failure takes place and the individual goes to wrong track in his life and the loss caused by this small mismanagement goes a long way as a train sent to wrong track reaches to wrong destination .
Well grown students i. e. by intermediate can decide their own areas with the help of their competent /experienced teachers . they should not run after the crowed as a mad man . they should try to know themselves , their aptitudes and interests . the success lies in choice of right person with right potentials to right study -field / area and then finally to right place.
While going on life , therefore , one should be very careful of his mission that has been more or less decided by nature and if we can read the hints that shows the way of our destination . if the aptitude , present in you is properly read and trained accordingly , the maximum outcome of your person is mostly assured and you are a successful man . now your mission is full and this is a kind of liberation .

FORGIVENESS TO REVENGE

In Ishavashyopanishad Greed has been told the root cause of all the evils in the world and in human beings । in Gita Lord Krishna and in Ram Charit Manas three are the causes of evils 1-lust/sex 2- anger and 3 - greed। really if we have no greed we can keep ourselves away from all other human weaknesses and drawbacks ,mentioned above । Lord Bauddha has taught us compassion /kindness /Karuna . there is one saying in samskrit , '' करुनैव रसः '' । but in Jain Philosophy the importance has been given to KSHAMA forgiveness. in Bible too , it has been taught that you should forgive your enemy . the general code of conduct prescribed in our society is ,- '' yasmin yatha vartate jo manushyah tasmin tatha vartate sah dharmah '' and in English , - ''an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth .'' but this is for common people and can not be prescribed for those who are virtuous . Mahatma Gandhi says , ''an eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind . '' a man who think to take revenge keeps his own wounds alive ,deep and green . if we want to revenge any in the same coin as violence for violence we become equal to our enemy , but if we use love and forgiveness in place of violence we become superior to our enemy (we treat him not an enemy but as our friend .) thus revenge is an inhuman work and word . Williiam Shakespeare says , ''heat not a furnace for your foe so hot , that it may/ do singe yourself .
Forgiveness is divine quality and when we do the act of forgiveness we become divine and loved by God . well said , '' to err is human , to forgive divine . forgiving is an act of strong and powerful. the weak can never forgive . Dorothy Deluzy writs , - it is very easy to forgive your enemy than your friend . again , you can / may not forgive yourself for your mistakes , that is good but you should always try your best to forget others . forgiveness is one of the human virtues that makes us good , great and Godly . forgiveness is rather double blessing , because it sooths the person whom you forgot and sooths you and gives you peace of mind and feeling of goodness aswell greatness . forgiveness is a kind of mercy , an act of charity and feeling of oneness . i.e. brotherhood .

सात्विक यज्ञ

महाबीर ( श्री हरि /राम /गाड /खुदा ) की आराधना करिए जिससे सभी प्रकार की सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है । सर्व विदित सत्य है कि राम नाम से सभी मनोरथ पूरे हो जाते हैं । देर न करिए , शीघ्र ही यह उपदेश मान कर बीज महामंत्र जपिए जिसका जप कर के शंकर ने विषपान कर लिया । यही महायज्ञ है - प्रेम के जल से तर्पण करिए , सहज- सनेह का घृत डालिए , शंकाओं कि लकड़ी की समिधा बनाइये और क्षमा की अग्नि में स्वाहा करिए , ममता की बलि दीजिये , पापों का उच्चाटन करिए जिससे मन वश में हो और अहंकार तथा काम को मारा जा सके । इस प्रकार यज्ञ द्वारा संतोष- विचार रूपी सुख- सम्पदा को आकर्षित करिए । जिन्हों ने भी इस प्रकार भजन किया उनको ही श्री राम का साक्षात्कार हुआ । मैं (तुलसी दास ) भी इसी मार्ग पर चढ़ गया हूँ , यदि उनकी कृपा से निर्वहन कर सका ।

बीर महा अवराधिये , साधे सिधि होय । सकल काम पूरन करै ,जाने सब कोय ।।
बेगि , बिलम्ब न कीजिये लीजै उपदेस । बीज महामंत्र जपिए सोई , जो जपत महेस ॥
प्रेम-बारि-तरपन भलो , घृत सहज सनेहु । संसय- समिध ,अगिनि क्षमा , ममता बलि देहु ॥
अघ- उचाटि , मन बस करै , मारे मद मार । आकर्शै सुख -सम्पदा -संतोस- बिचार ॥
जिन्ह यहि भांति भजन कियो , मिले रघुपति ताहि । तुलसिदास प्रभु पथ चढ्यो , जौ लेहु निबाहि ॥

FLOWERS.

I think this world is full of metaphors .it needs abstract understanding to relate whole creation with a thing or an individual , living and nonliving . metaphor is a word or phrase used to describe somebody or something else in a way that different from its normal use , in order to show that the two things have the same qualities and to make the description more powerful and effective . for example - she has a heart of stone . again , a game of football used as a metaphor for the competitive struggle of life .
The same way , i have enlarged the idea and try to see life in different things in Nature (others also do so ) . one of these metaphors , i like to compare our lives with flower. on Earth , the most i like is the flower that gives me pleasure and peace that i can not describe . it seems to me that Mother Earth smiles and laughs through flowers . whenever i am in the company of flowers i feel rather in Heaven on Earth . i never like to offer flowers to those i love because i do not find anything more loving than flower. i do not offer to God or Gods nor wish to receive it from those who are dear to me . flowers before me speak to me and i find no space left between myself and the flower. i think the moment that i have become the flower and the flower me . '' flowers are words , which even a babe may understand.'' writes , BishopCoxe ,
I think , i have read somewhere in Qoran , '' if i had but two loaves of bread , i would sell one for flower , for they would feed my soul . '' William Wordsworth says , ''to me the meanest flower that blows can give thoughts that do often lie too deep for tears . '' Emorson says , '' EARTH LAUGHS IN FLOWERS .
I always told my students to learn to love flowers if they wanted to learn , what is love ? the flower is the best teacher that can teach the true and real love . but we need that sense of understanding . one who does not know to love a flower can never learn the real love . and one who harms a flower is the cruelest being on Earth .
Acharya Rajneesh , '' only seeds are not seeds , we are also seeds , we also grow , we also flower and we also fruit . '' i learned always to see my students grow like beautiful flowers and to see finally bear fruits . this is my sincere advice , if you want to enjoy life learn to love and to learn love , start loving flowers . look at flower as you get a chance and love it , see at it and try to reduce the space between you and the flower . the day or moment you become a flower while looking at it and forget yourself / your identity , you are nothing but , tru , real and perfect love . feeling of oneness with an object of love is the true love . you can start this love with a flower and advance it to love the whole creation at large. love like mercy drops like gentle rain from Heaven to Earth . leran to love flower first .

EXPERIENCE OF TRUTH / GOD .

There are many truths of which the full meaning can not be realized until personal experience has brought it home and it is extract of self suffering . experience , again, is not what happens to you but what you yourself make to happen . one thing we must keep in our mind that we all , rich and poor ; great and small ; fool and wise have equal ability and access to God . we have direct relation with God and no one can reach us to Him except the person who is in search of God . remember! all the Gods and Gurus and and books and scripts are the only means of ,to guide and motivate towards God . it is great mischief on the part of many that they waste their lives -time in pursuing other Gods , Gurus , books and many other means and methods totally useless and fruitless . God is within you and available in every breath that comes in and goes out . you are full of God and waiting you to knock says the Bible .
God needs nothing , no worship , no service , no flower , no yajna , nothing . there is nothing that can be served to him . He is every where , in each and every thing equally distributed. what is your , that you can give Him and oblige , it is all Him and His . you yourself too . so if you want to serve Him , give yourself to Him . try to unite / feel yourself with Him ; that you are already united with. only you need to feel and know this fact . even if you do not feel and know this truth He is you /with you /out you and in you . He says , -ME within THEE blind . open your eyes and see , I am there . to see Him there is only one way and that is prayer .
Gandhi , the Mahatma says , - prayer is not an idle man's amusement. properly understood and sincerely applied it is the most potent instrument of action to realize God .'' what is the best thing of all for a man , that he may ask from the God and that he may be always at peace with Him and himself . a prayer in its simplest form the effort is to know oneself in full. Socrates says , -- our prayers should be for blessings in general , for God knows best what is good for us . '' i we start only to live life looking for the God in every thought and action , all around , every moment and every action becomes a prayer .
The prayer that we do and have fervently and whole-heartedly in adversity if in equal spirit and sincerity it is done in prosperity we can realize the Truth/God. can we imagine the prayer that we have when we are in hard blind corners of life and remember God . the same is needed to see him .
Again to conclude , be sure , no one can reach you God than yourself . you are free to have direct relation as you are the best temple of God . do not run here and there , stop action of any kind to achieve any thing out side . be quiet and have no action , and in this solitude try to see , how He is every where in every action with and within you .

PROMISES ,PRUDENCE AND PUNCTUALITY.

Mostly i use quotations that have become part of my memory , so i can always make quite a fair show of knowledge . ( all that i have is borrowed not original ,except those of spiritual experiences but say those are also common and shared .) i have a quotation for all i say because , it saves original thinking and reasoning . i also think that only Adam could have said a good thing that no body had said it before . the real knowledge is universal and except scientific inventions all that relates human life has already been said .
now of promises . it has been well said that every one is a millionaire where promises are concerned . this making of promises without giving due thought puts you in trouble . . therefore do not undertake anything that you can not perform , that you have no ability and capacity of . take care to promise and if promised try all your best to keep your promise . he who is slow to promise and faithful to keep it adds a feather in his cap and creates a reputation of his own that pays against rainy days . Napoleon writes , '' the best way to keep one's promise /word is not to give it at all . to make a promise and to keep it is a trait of a good person and one of the virtues .
Now let us talk of prudence or discretion the power of understanding between right and wrong . this is the power of mind that uses reason and try to decide and anticipate the outcome of our action and thereafter the results . as we show , so shall we reap . this understanding makes us safe than being sorry . any thing that we do if not well thought leaves us to repent and regret. one example , - people who live in houses of glass should not throw stones .second example , - the money and wealth ill got is ill spent and again brings its results that are sure to be unpleasant and painful. some time you may delay or avoid taking decisions or judgements but if you fail to required prudence you may cause a loss that can not be repaired . prudence is a virtue that surpass , learning , knowledge and sincerity . prudence tells us ,- the pleasure you are seeking for hides the pain behind it and inevitably come after the joy . no one can help it.
i have always been ten minutes before my time in sure cases and half an hour in doubtful cases and it has made a man of me and those who worked with me followed me sooner or later and also appreciated . some people complain that they want to be punctual but nobody is there to appreciate them . but it is wrong to say and moreover , virtue is the reward of virtue itself and it needs no appreciation , reward or payment whatsoever. if you are not well in time you are thought as unfaithful and it is an act of dishonesty on your part . therefore any appointment must be attended in due time . William Shakespeare writes , - '' better three hours too soon than a minute too late .

हारे थके मुसाफिर के चरणों को धोकर पी लेने से ....

हारे थके मुसाफिर के चरणों को धोकर पी लेने से ,
अक्सर मैंने यह देखा है मेरी थकन उतर जाती है ।

कोई ठोकर लगी अचानक  , जब जब चला सावधानी से ,
पर मंजिल तक पहुँच गया हूँ  ,भूले भटके आसानी से ।
पीड़ामय अधरों पर कोई  ,  अपनी मुरली रख देने से ,
अक्सर मैंने यह देखा है , मेरी पीड़ा मर जाती है । ........हारे ....

प्यासे अधरों को बिन परसे  , पुण्य नही मिलता पानी को ,
याचक का आशीष लिए बिन ,  स्वर्ग नही मिलता दानी को।
अपनी प्यास भुलाकर  ,  कोई रीती गागर भर देने से ,
अक्सर मैंने यह देखा है , मेरी गागर भर जाती है । .........हारे .....

पथ के काँटों को बुहारना , चलने से भी कम बड़ा है ,
स्नेह दिए में भरते रहना , जलने से भी काम बड़ा है ।
आपदग्रस्त किसी नाविक को , निज पतवार थमा देने से ,
अक्सर मैंने यह देखा है , मेरी नौका तीर जाती है ।  .............हारे ....

लालच दिया मुक्ति का जिसने , वह ईश्वर पूजना नहीं है
बन कर वेदमंत्र-सा मुझको , मंदिर में गूँजना नहीं है
जों दरिद्र हैं ,भूखे , नंगे , उनकी थोड़ी सी सेवा से
मैंने अक्सर यह देखा है , मेरी मुक्ति संवर जाती है ..............हारे......

सत्याग्रह और अहिंसा

एक मित्र ने पूछा है , गाँधी एक तरफ़ तो मारने वाले के सामने दूसरा गाल करने को कहते हैं ; दूसरी तरफ़ कहते हैं अत्याचार मत सहो ; विरोध दिखता है दोनों कथनों में विरोध नहीं है पहली बात - दूसरे गाल वाली बात गाँधी की नहीं बाइबिल में जीसस की है परन्तु गाँधी इसे अपना आदर्श मानते हैं दूसरा गाल सामने करने की बात कमजोरी की बात नही है , हिम्मत की बात है , मजबूती की बात है अगर आपको कोई थप्पड़ मारे तो आपका भी थप्पड़ मारना हिंसा है और गाँधी का मत हिंसा है नही गाँधी का एक बहुत बड़ा मत है कि आदमी में चाहे जितने दुर्गुण हों पर एक गुण तो जरुर है , वह कि , उसके भीतर एक आदमी है , और शायद जब वह आपको थप्पड़ मारे तो दूसरे गाल को उसके सामने करने पर उसके भीतर का आदमी जग जाय , उसको अपनी गलती का आभास हो जाय , संभावना है , कोई पक्का नही है , संभावना है और इतना काफी है सफल होने के लिए , लेकिन यदि आप भी थप्पड़ ही मारते हैं तो हिंसा हो जायेगी हिंसा केवल कायर करते हैं अतः हिंसा नहीं करना है दूसरा गाल करना उसके सामने , तीन बातें साफ करता है - हमको हिंसा नही करना हिंसा के बदले में - हिंसा का सामना अहिंसा से करना (दूसरा गाल सामने करना ) आपकी हिम्मत और धैर्य का प्रतीक है , कमजोरी का कत्तई नही - तीसरा यह कि संभावना है वह आदमी सुधर जाय , उसके भतार का आदमी जग जाय ऐसा बहुत बार हुआ है , जैसे अंगुलिमाल के साथ भगवान बुद्ध ने किया और वह बड़ा संत हो गया
जो बात अत्याचार सहने की है वह है , - सत्याग्रह सत्याग्रह का अर्थ है - हिंसा का उत्तर हिंसा से नही दें परन्तु जो आपको सही लगता है उसका पक्ष छोडें , उस पर अड़े रहें और हिंसा को छोड़कर अन्य अहिंसक तरीकों से अपना विरोध जारी रखें और संघर्ष करें इस प्रकार के उपाय समय , परिस्थिति और समस्या के अनुसार निर्धारित करने होंगे इसे अहिंसक लड़ाई कहते हैं , इसके अनेकों उदहारण भारत की स्वतंत्रता की लड़ाई में मिलते हैं गाँधी दर्शन को ठीक से समझ लेने पर यह आसान हो जाता है कृपया गाँधी की आत्म कथा , - सत्य के साथ प्रयोग पढ़ें
एक बात और ठीक से समझ लें , - अत्याचार करना कायरता है , अत्याचार का बदला अत्याचार से देना ठीक नही , तुलसीदास जी ने कहा - मल कि जाहिं मलहि के धोये , अर्थात मल से मल साफ नही हो सकता ,साबुन से साफ होता है सो हिंसा से हिंसा और वैर से वैर नहीं ख़तम हो सकता अमित्र से मित्रता हमारा आदर्श है जो हिंसक होते है ,मनोविज्ञान कहता है - वे डरपोक और कायर होते है जो ताकतवर और हिम्मती होता है वह निडर और निर्भय होता है जो अस्त्र शस्त्र रखते हैं वे जाहिरन डरे हुए लोग होते हैं
अंत में एक बात और कहना चाहता हूँ - किसी धर्म , सिद्धांत , महापुरुष के सम्बन्ध में जितना संदेह और जिज्ञासा करेंगे उतना ही आप उन्हें ठीक से समझ लेंगे और ठीक से समझ लेने पर कहीं भी विरोध है , ऐसा नही मालूम होगा वैसे गाँधी दर्शन कोई नई विधि नही है , गाँधी जी ने भारतीय दर्शन का एक प्रयोग भारत को आजाद कराने में किया और वह सफल रहा और सारी दुनिया ने उसे स्वीकार कर लिया है जिज्ञासा प्रकट करने हेतु सधुबाद के साथ . ग़लत बात नहीं सहना , उसका विरोध करना परन्तु इस विरोध में हिंसा शामिल हो ,बस अहिंसा के साथ सत्याग्रह एक बात और , गाँधी जी कहते है , - कायरता से हिंसा श्रेष्ट है अहिंसा के जब सभी विकल्प असफल हो जायं तो भी अत्याचार और अन्याय रुके तो अन्तिम विकल्प के रूप में अन्याय से लड़ने हेतु हिंसा एक विकल्प हो सकती है महा भारत में यही प्रयोग कृष्ण ने किया था गीता गाँधी का आदर्श है
