OBJECT OF LIFE AD INFINITUM

Honeybee genetically to feed it's hunger runs from one flower to other and collects honey  but it does not know  that  during her course of action , inadvertently it has cross-pollinated a thousand of flowers and again the honey gathered and saved  in hives has been stolen by animals and men for their use . moreover a very well organized family has been disciplined for the objective . how many more targets are being fulfilled by /through the life of Honeybee is yet to be discovered . this is INFINITE WISDOM ,
The same way  ; we the men with our instincts (biological /genetic urges ) try to feed our hunger , then sex , then children , then family-needs as cloth and shelter and then  ; earn honey/money  and then  ; do right-wrongs  and then commit fare- fowl and then ;  have pain pleasure and then ; weep and laugh and ultimately life comes to end with all plus and minus that is equal .  we lead our lives to feed , fulfill our instinctual needs and urges but  who knows  , how many more objects have been  targeted and exacted through like  that of honeybee.
This it what Lord Krishna says in Gita  '' work incessantly  and do not wait the result  because the result is not in your hand  and not  known to you as it may be multifarious  known best to INFINITE WIT /NATURE /GOD /  . your choice is only in action not in result or reward as it is multifarious ,that is all well that ends well '
Therefore do not try to know the objective of your work or action but act in your field of life . do your duty  with all your might and mind and be assured the result is all right .

Read the following lines of  S.T.Coleridge in '' Work Without Hope'' and compare .
''All Nature seems at work. Slugs leave their lair --
The bees are stirring -- birds are on the wing -And Winter slumbering in the open air,
Wears on his smiling face a dream of Spring!
And I the while, the sole unbusy thing,
Nor honey make, nor pair, nor build, nor sing.
Yet well I ken the banks where amaranths blow,
Have traced the fount whence streams of nectar flow.
Bloom, O ye amaranths! bloom for whom ye may,
For me ye bloom not! Glide, rich streams, away!
With lips unbrightened, wreathless brow, I stroll:
And would you learn the spells that drowse my soul?
Work without Hope draws nectar in a sieve,
And Hope without an object cannot live.'' -

QUALITIES OF A SAINT IN RAM CHARIT MANAS & BIBLE

The qualities of saints, by virtue of which they hold Me in subjection. They aremasters of the six passions (lust, anger, greed, infatuation, pride and jealousy), sinless, disinterested, firm, possessing nothing, pure (both within and without), full of bliss, of boundless wisdom, desirelessness, moderate in diet, truthful, inspired, learned and united with God, circumspect, bestowing honour on others, free from pride, strong-minded and highly
conversant with the course of Dharma (righteousness. They are abodes of virtue, above the sorrows of the world and free from doubt. Nothing besides My lotus feet is dear to them, not even their body nor their home.
They blush to hear themselves praised but feel much delighted to hear others praises. Even-minded and placid, they never abandon the right course. Guileless by nature and loving, they are given over to prayer, austerity, control of the senses, self denial and religious observances and undertake sacred vows. They are devoted to the feet of their Guru, Lord  Ram . They are full of piety, forgiving, friendly to all, compassionate, cheerful under all circumstances and sincerely devoted to Me .. They are further characterized by dispassion, discretion, modesty, knowledge of the truth relating to God as well as by a correct knowledge of the Vedas. They never take recourse to hypocrisy, pride or arrogance nor set their foot on the evil path even by mistake. They are ever engaged in singing or hearing My stories and are intent on doing good to others without any consideration.  (Aranya Kand  between 44 & 46 Dohas )

** Please see the Qualities of  a Saint as mentioned in Bible by Jesus Christ  and compare  --

Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the Lord .
who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight," declares the Lord.
"The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth."
"Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit."
"...where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth."
 "We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done... We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us."
"No one whose hope is in you
will ever be put to shame..."

LEARNING OF ATTITUDE

The remarkable thing is that we really love our neighbor as ourselves: we do unto others as we do unto ourselves. We hate others when we hate ourselves. We are tolerant toward others when we tolerate ourselves. We forgive others when we forgive ourselves. We are prone to sacrifice others when we are ready to sacrifice ourselves. ( E. Hoffer )
'' The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.” Charles R. Swindoll. For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.       ( Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 )
 ''  The sun shines and warms and lights us and we have no curiosity to know why this is so; but we ask the reason of all evil, of pain, and hunger, and mosquitoes and silly people. ''  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
'' Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed. '' (B.Franklin )
 '' I always plucked a thistle and planted a flower where I thought a flower would grow. ''   ~Abraham Lincoln
 '' Got no checkbooks, got no banks,
Still I'd like to express my thanks -

I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night.'' (Irving Berlin )
'' True contentment depends not upon what we have; a tub was large enough for Diogenes, but a world was too little for Alexander. '' ~Charles Caleb Colton

''  What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog. '' ~Dwight Eisenhower.

 '' The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.  One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless and yet be determined to make them otherwise. '' ~F. Scott Fitzgerald

LEARN TO DECIDE TO SUCCESS

"One of the commonest mistakes and one of the costliest is thinking that success is due to some genius, some magic — something or other which we do not possess. Success is generally due to holding on, and failure to letting go. You decide to learn a language, study music, take a course of reading, train yourself physically. Will it be success or failure? It depends upon how much pluck and perseverance that word “decide” contains. The decision that nothing can overrule, the grip that nothing can detach will bring success. Remember the Chinese proverb, “With time and patience, the mulberry leaf becomes satin."  -- M.D.Babcock

SCRAPS TO FRIENDS

Don’t possess, don’t become owners of persons or things; just use them as a gift of the universe.
And when they are available, use them; when they are not available. enjoy the freedom. When you have something, enjoy it; when you don’t have it, enjoy not having it – that too has its own beauty. If you have a palace to live in, enjoy! If you don’t have, then enjoy a hut and the hut becomes apalace. It is the ENJOYMENT that makes the difference. Then live under a tree and enjoy it. Don’t miss the tree and the flowers and the freedom and the birds and the air and the sun. And when you are in a palace don’t miss it . Go on enjoying wherever you are, and don’t possess anything. Nothing belongs to us. We come empty-handed in the world and we go empty-handed. The world is a gift, so enjoy while it is there.And remember, the universe always gives you that which you need.(Source - Osho)
Only happy people can learn. Only happy people can teach.but happiest is he who serves and see the causes of others who need your service/ help / compassion /kindness and goodness because goodness is the essence of greatness and God .to be great is good but it is nothing without goodness . the goodness is the greatest and the Best . those good in thought , in speech /voice , behaviour , action and in reaction are the Souls -Divine .
Learn to be Good .
have courage to say , ' i do not trust you ' . learn to make a friend and be true to him /her . do the right that you think is right . to see far , shut your eyes from many nonsense things in life and this world . inspire others with you to learn more , dream more and be more .your life-time is counted in days months and years ,do not waste it ,do not rest and do not copy / live the lives of others , be original . hear your inner voice , heart , mind and intuition and act not as dogmas tell . be clear what you want to be and see what are you doing ? every day think what you are doing and what you should do and then is there difference between the two , if there is any delete it then and there lest you may fail in life and left to endless regret . awake and move .
Create and do not claim ,do and take no credit ,guide but do not interfere is the cardinal virtue. the grace of life is to breath and act with the breath of time , place and person as circumstances suggest ; harmonize your breath with the breath of NATURE. this is the best clue to success .
Let me quote Thomas Jefferson - '' Though you cannot see, when you take one step, what will be the next, yet follow truth, justice, and plain dealing, and never fear their leading you out of the labyrinth, in the easiest manner possible. The knot which you thought a Gordian one will untie itself before you. ''
-- Best of wishes with prayer to God .

ESSENCE OF BUDDHISM

  • AWAKE YOURSELF AND OTHERS IS THE MISSION OF LORD BAUDDHA
  • Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds.
  • You only lose what you cling to.
  • Fill your mind with compassion .
  • The Four to rely on -
    First, rely on the spirit and meaning of the teachings, not on the words;
    Second, rely on the teachings, not on the personality of the teacher;
    Third, rely on real wisdom, not superficial interpretation;
    And fourth, rely on the essence of your pure Wisdom Mind, not on judgmental perceptions.
  • To be idle is a short road to death and to be diligent is a way of life; foolish people are idle, wise people are diligent.
  • Pay no attention to the faults of others,
    Consider only what by oneself is done or left undone.
  • What we think, we are.
  • Hold on to anger .
  • Be humble for what you have received, do not envy that others have .As who envies others can not have peace .
  • An insincere and evil friend is more harmful than a wild beast.
  • Words have the power to both destroy and heal. use the words with thought and wisdom .
  • Do not dwell the past, do not dream the future, concentrate on the present .
    Virtuous wins.Wisdom is the light. Nothing can destroy virtuous who has conquered the greed.
